Perfect for applying flux while soldering because the bristles of the brush are fire resistant.

They can also be used by jewelers and hobbyists to apply paint, lacquer or other materials as bristles are fine and soft. Bristles may be replaced by simply trimming them back and burning off the tip until more bristles are exposed.
