Pulse tests the electronic side of a quartz analog watch movement. Battery operated tester intercepts impulsion coming from the coil of a movement. When a signal is picked up, a yellow diode lights up and Pulse makes an audible beep. If Pulse intercepts the impulsion of a watch and the hands do not turn, that means the electronic side is functioning well and the defect is in the mechanical side. Powered by a 9-volt battery, included.
